Players with cards of different playing positions

Players with sorare cards from different positions (e.g. midfield and forward) receive different scores depending on the position of the embossed card, although the difference is usually not too great. Important to know: Only the score of the currently active player position is shown on the player's Sorare profile. SorareData, on the other hand, only shows the score of the position on which the player has played in the current match week.

Defensive and midfield cards of the same player
The card of a midfielder is usually more valuable, as defenders get a higher point deduction for lost tackles and lost possession. However, exceptions can have players from teams that have a lot of possession and often keep a clean sheet.

Midfield and forward cards of the same player
The role a player takes tactically has a big influence on which of the cards is better in SO5. Wingers and true strikers score better as striker cards. Players with a deeper, more central position score better as a midfield card.
