TIPS AND TRICKS

Learn to be tactical. On the transfer market, at auctions or before a Sorare matchday. Learn tips and tricks for buying and selling players, participating in the league and much more.

What types of players are there?

Basically, you should know exactly what you want to achieve in the game Sorare. In our opinion, three types of players need to be distinguished:

Type 1: Football fanatic
Type 1 loves football more than anything and is enthusiastic about everything that goes on around the round leather. He likes collecting Panini cards, playing fantasy football games and FIFA games, taking part in fantasy Premier Leagues or simply watching hours of football on TV.

Type 2: Crypto trader
The crypto trader also thinks the game is great, but primarily wants to make money from it. Accordingly, he buys and sells player cards for as much profit as possible. There are also a few "whales" on Sorare who own a large proportion of the player cards on Sorare and also have a lot of Sorare experience.

Type 3: Football hero
The last type is probably the most common in the game. He is very interested in football and wants to participate in the game as much and as long as possible. Winning money and player cards is also part of it. After all, a good manager is only one who bets on the right player cards and can handle money in an economically sustainable way.

How can I earn money on Sorare?

Money can be earned in the game in three main ways:

Win prizes

A manager can win prizes (money and player cards) by participating in the fantasy game on Sorare and using his player cards in the leagues.

Short trading

A manager buys player cards and hopes that their value will increase within a short time - e.g. thanks to easy opponents - and then sells them on at a profit.

Long-term trading

A manager buys player cards from young or emerging players in the hope that their value will multiply over time.

OBSERVE AND LEARN

Watch the auctions for a few days before you actively participate. Make a plan of which players you want to buy and don't act emotionally.

INOFRMATE WELL

Inform yourself in detail about the price/performance ratio of the player cards. This may require some reading time, but it will save you from making expensive purchases.

PLAY "CAPPED MODE

Purchase or buy five or more player cards from players who play regularly and score well. This allows you to take part in "Capped Mode" and regularly win prize money, the Sorare Threshold - paid out in the cryptocurrency Ethereum.

INVEST IN A GOOD GOALKEEPER

To be competitive, a goalkeeper who always plays and receives few goals is of great importance. Goalkeepers are correspondingly expensive. Nevertheless, we advise you to invest in a good goalkeeper who always plays and scores many clean sheets.

TRAINING

Send the players who are not playing in a tournament to training so that they can collect important experience points (XP) and thus become more valuable (receive more points).

INJURED PLAYERS

Invest in players who are currently injured but otherwise play regularly. With a little patience and luck, their market value will rise again.
Or buy the substitute player who has taken over the position of an injured player.

PLAYER PEARLS AUCTION

This strategy is not for the impatient and serves a forward-looking purpose. Buy very young players who you think will reach their potential in 1-3 years. These player cards will be correspondingly valuable in the future. If only one out of five player pearls hits the ground, the deal has already paid off.

U23 PLAYER AUCTION

Buy five limited cards from players who are all under 23 years old. This way you can participate in the U23 league. In addition, there's a good chance that one of your young players will have a stellar career in the near future.
However, the goalkeeper is also expensive here, provided he always plays.

USE DISCORD

Write to the sellers via the Discord channel. With a bit of luck and friendliness, you can negotiate a lower price.

SORARE ON DISCORD

RECOMMEND SORARE

Recommend Sorare to your friends and you will receive a credit of 20 euros as soon as your friend has purchased the fifth card.

BE CAREFUL WHEN SELLING YOUR PLAYER TICKETS

Do not sell a player card that you want to use in the upcoming gameweek. If you have found a buyer, your team for the current gameweek will be canceled with the corresponding player card.

BEWARE OF FALSE OFFERS

When selling a card, do not fall for false offers. It has already happened that a zero was deliberately left out to deceive the seller. For example, instead of 1500 euros, only 150 euros was offered.

ACT ANTICYCLICALLY

Buy players on the transfer market whose league is currently on break.
Buy players who are currently injured, but are otherwise part of the regular team.
