Sorare announced a number of changes in February 2024, which will be implemented between February and August 2024. Here you will find an overview of when which changes will take place.

The most important facts in brief
New competition structure: Champions, Challenger and Contender. These are in turn divided into in-season (cards from the current season) and off-season (cards from previous seasons) competitions.
Separate competitions for Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga.
Multiple participation: Possibility to register up to 3 teams in each competition.
Competitions such as Legends, Kickoff and Rare Pro will be abolished as of March 29, Global All-Star as of August 2024.
The threshold and capped modes will be abolished as of August 2024 - there is a transitional arrangement in between.
NEW: Division structure - better prices the higher you are in the divisions.
No rarity bonuses: Use higher rarity levels in lower rarity competitions (e.g. Super Rare cards can be used in Rare), but the rarity bonus does not count.
The K-League points classification is back!
Special weekly competitions similar to Cap 220, Cap 270 or for legend cards
There are now three different groups of leagues, which are organized according to league strength. The leagues are divided into Champions, Challengers and Contenders (see image). These are in turn divided into In-Season (cards from the current season) and Off-Season (cards from previous seasons) competitions. There will also be separate competitions for the Premier League (effective immediately), La Liga and the Bundesliga. At least 10 teams with a license are required for a competition to start.
The prize money for the Champions competition is the highest, for the Contender competition the lowest.

Transition to competitive structure
The Threshold will be abolished in August 2024. Until then, there is a transitional solution, the "Beat the Game".
Managers can choose their target for the threshold each game week. This gives managers more choice. If you are confident in your team selection, there is an opportunity for bigger rewards. This "Beat The Game" competition runs from February 16 to August 2024.
Threshold / Beat the Game
From March 29, divisions will be introduced for all new competitions that go live on this date: Premier League, Champions, Challengers and Contenders (In-Season and Off-Season). No divisions will be implemented for the old competitions (Global U23, Global All-star, Global Capped) during the transition phase.
Teams will be assigned to divisions at the beginning (on March 29) based on the strength of the manager's gallery compared to the competition. During the transition period, failure to submit a roster will not result in relegation. Promotions and relegations will take place each game week for each team created.
Division structure
As a club owner, you can create multiple teams per competition. Each of your teams can be promoted and relegated independently of the others and win rewards. You can swap players between all your teams at any time.
During the transition period, both the collection bonuses and the card XP bonuses will be implemented as before.
