Interview by Nicolas Julia

German summary from FansRare on an interview by Nicolas Julia with a French journalist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5_Qnu8qoTg&ab_channel=TheBigWhale

Agreements with leagues
Most of the league deals that were concluded during the bull market have been renegotiated. Many of these leagues are shareholders in the company and have no interest in seeing Sorare in trouble. During these renegotiations, some leagues have even increased their stake in the company.

Portfolio
Sorare has one of the best partnership portfolios in the world of sport, if not the best. Sorare is one of the ten partners of the Premier League and by far the youngest company to cooperate with them.

Product
The user base consists of 80% men and 70% Europeans. Nicolas Juia is still heavily involved in product development and does not plan to delegate this any time soon. Big announcements on tournaments, rewards and offers are coming in the first quarter.

Price development
The situation is far from perfect, we are aware of that. However, it is not true that Sorare controls the market price.

NBA/MLB
Nicolas Julia reaffirmed his commitment to the development of NBA or MLB. It was made as a strategic decision and they will stick with it. The release of the iOS app was critical for the US market. Sorare plans to make the experience more consistent and similar across all three sports. Soccer, NBA and MLB will soon share a similar code base. A strong belief in the fantasy and collector market for US sports is required to be the long-term market leader.

Rivals
Rivals will be the entry point to the Sorare experience. Marketing will focus on Rivals, as marketing with Sorare Pro does not work. Julia believes that Rivals offers a quick, clear and easy to understand entry point into the game.
