Sorare Referral Program: Update

Sorare plans to revamp their referral program in October. Instead of card-based rewards, they will now switch to a credit system.

Some important points about the new system:

Fraud and Abuse:
Sorare takes great care to prevent fraud and abuse in the referral program. Although no large-scale fraudulent activities have been detected so far, they are always vigilant and encourage the community to report suspicious activities.

Why Referral Credits?
Community feedback showed that many wanted more flexibility in rewards. With Referral Credits, managers can now choose rewards based on their own preferences and goals.

How do Referral Credits work?
They are similar to a voucher that can be used to buy Sorare digital player cards directly from the primary sales market.

Staggered launch + requirements: Until mid-October launch
As a referral, you'll receive a 50 percent discount on your primary market purchases, up to $20 in credits. You have seven days to redeem the credit. You can't resell the card you bought with the credit for 14 days. The referee will receive a limited card according to the current rewards of the referral program.

Both Referrers and Referee receive a 50% discount on primary market purchases, up to a total credit of $20. The same seven-day redemption window and 14-day resale period applies.

Progression:
You can earn credits if you refer more managers to Sorare. For example, if you make two successful referrals in one day, you will receive a 50% discount on your primary market purchases up to $40, and the window for purchasing a card with these credits will be reset to seven days.

Milestones:
The milestones of the referral program continue as usual.
