What are the prizes to be won on Sorare?
The prizes are cash in the form of the cryptocurrency Ethereum or player cards. The size of the prize pool of a game week depends on how many Sorare-licensed clubs play in that time slot. Each tournament thus has different prize pools.
Ethereum as prize money for a certain number of points
In Division 4, in the Global All-Star league, there is Ethereum to be won as a prize, so-called "thresold":
If you have earned more than 205 points, you receive 0.01 ETH (approx. 20-40 EUR depending on the exchange rate).
If you have earned more than 250 points, you will receive 0.02 ETH (depending on the exchange rate, approx. 40-60 EUR).
Ethereum as prize money for a podium place
All managers who finish in the top 3 of a league will receive prize money or Ethereum.
Player cards as a prize for ranking
Depending on your ranking, you will receive no, a valuable or a less valuable player card as a prize. The player card prizes are divided into levels: Tier 0, Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Level 0 are the most valuable cards, level 3 are the least valuable cards.
Your rank is more important than the level. Being top level 3 is almost the same as being low level 2.
Interesting to know: Level 0 accounts for only 3% of the rewarded cards, but holds 38% of the value. In contrast, level 3 accounts for 63% of the cards rewarded, but they have only 15% of the value.
